I have been working with Jon for approximately 4 months now and what started as a search for a personal trainer ended up with me finding something much more beneficial - assisted stretching. Initially, I had hoped to find a trainer who could help reduce the 'clutter' around exercise programs and help me develop a sustainable, buildable program that would minimize potential for injury. That search led me to Jon Grobofski. Within 10 minutes of meeting me, Jon recognized that I had been accommodating for a workout injury that I had sustained 3 years earlier that never fully healed. That injury caused chronic, low grade pain in my lower back, hips and legs even though I had been regularly using massage and adjustments to address the problem. Jon suggested that we try an assisted stretching session to see if he could release some of the muscle tightness and I was amazed at the relief I felt after just one, 30 minute session. Jon was able to target my trouble area which helped release the tension in surrounding areas. Based on those results, we agreed to shift from training sessions to stretching sessions, which I can honestly say has dramatically improved my quality of life. My muscles loosened up, there was improvement in my walking and posture and my pain had disappeared! That in turn helped with my overall mood and motivation. With my visible improvements, Jon then recommended I take another look at exercise and diet. I felt more confident working out because I was less concerned about reinjuring myself and nutrition just naturally fell into place. That initial assisted stretching session started a sustainable wellness journey for me and I am very grateful. I would strongly recommend giving assisted stretching with Jon a try.

I’ve been training with Jon and Mallory at ML Fitness for over two years, and I can’t recommend them enough.
